Authorized Academy Partner Program
Background:
There’s been a huge trend lately towards creating Maker Spaces to help people build cool, innovative projects (vs. just consuming stuff online). Additionally, a recent Gallup – Google survey found that 9 of 10 parents wanted their children to learn computer science and related skills, but fewer than 25% of schools offered any courses on these topics.
Challenge:
In an attempt to address these needs, many engaged community, civic, and business leaders have begun launching stand-alone “Coding Days” or “Tech Bootcamps” which are great at helping young people get excited for a moment, but lack solid, well-designed, foundational curriculum to really help youth learn the core concepts.
Solution:
TechTrep.com partners with innovative, community-centered organizations who share our vision about helping young people gain the real-world skills they need to be successful in the 21st century.
